Today, Turkey’s largest newspaper Hürriyet ended the decades-old column of my father Taha Akyol. Everyone knows why. Just two days ago, he had written once again about thinking freely & not bowing down to autocracy - principles he upheld all his life. I am proud to be his son. Bugün, Türkiye 'nin en büyük Hürriyet gazetesi babam taha akyol 'ın on yıllardır süren sütununa son vermiş. Herkes nedenini biliyor. Sadece iki gün önce, özgürce düşünme hakkında bir kez daha yazdı ve otokrat aşağı selam değil-ilkeler o tüm hayatını gerçekleştirdi. Oğlu olmaktan gurur duyuyorum. :
